40 things to do
before I'm 40

 


I've excluded from this list some items that would never happen (eg. I don't think, however hard I tried that I would get to shag Kylie). Only the achievable are in my list.

On the 5th day of May in the year 2011 I will reach the age of 40 and will be 'officially' old. Since I only have a short amount of my thirties left (I'm starting this project on my 35th birthday) I have looked at my life and realised that there are some things that I haven't done yet. I have compiled a list of 40 such things to complete before my 40th birthday (hopefully I'll make it that far). As I complete each task/experience I'll check them off and document the experience in the Captain's Log. How far will I get? Only time will tell...

I've seen and achieved so much already....
 From skiing the Alps (many times), seeing the Casino Royale in Monte Carlo (twice), meeting William Shatner and other Star Trek celebrities to the my wedding and the birth of my daughters. I have, up until this point in my life, achieved and experienced so much. I have good friends and a supportive family. Although my career didn't quite pan out as I intended and there have been many disappointments and upsets along the way, I consider myself the richest man in the world!
